Mahindra latest surprising plans are revealed as they announced to launch the long-awaited electric versions of the XUV 300 and KUV 100 before the end of this year. The electric XUV 300 will measure close to 4.2 meters and is rumored to be called the Mahindra XUV 400.

According to the latest reports, the electric KUV100 is facing some challenges with regard to its battery sourcing whereas the validation work on the electric XUV300 is underway

The electric KUV100 and XUV300 will be powered by Mahindra’s in-house developed powertrains. The ‘born electric’ models are expected to be based on Volkswagen’s MEB platform. 

The company will present 3 new electric SUV concepts on August 15, 2022. The brand is also expected to announce its future global EV plans in the UK.

The latest statement was given by Jejurikar, the Executive Director of Mahindra “By 2027, we will be ready for at least 20 percent of our total UV volumes to be coming from electric vehicles.” He also stated on behalf of the media query “If the charging infrastructure grows faster, we’ll likely be ready for an even higher penetration [of EVs].”
